He earned his Bachelor’s of Social Work from Alabama State University. Mikal earned his Master’s of Social Work with a concentration in Child and Family Welfare from Alabama A&M University. Mikal has 10 years of experience as a clinician.

Sommer Brown is the Administrative Assistant for our team at Sabree Therapeutic Services, LLC. She has experience with administrative tasks including scheduling, billing, copays, and correspondence. Having held positions in customer service and management, she is able to tailor her skills to meet the needs of various clients. Sommer is able to interact with potential and existing clients and has increased customer service satisfaction at several companies.

Cheryl Whetstone, LPC, NCC, CCSP
Cheryl L. Whetstone is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Professional School Counselor and National Certified Counselor. Cheryl is an active member of the Alabama Counseling Association. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages dealing with a variety of issues. Cheryl specializes in working with adolescents coping with anxiety, grief and loss, social skills and trauma. The driving force behind Cheryl's work is her strong belief that all people matter and should be treated with respect, understanding and compassion.

Liliana Sanchez is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both the state of Alabama and the state of Florida. Liliana has practiced as a licensed clinician for 5 years. Liliana is originally from South Florida where she earned a Master's in Special Education from Nova Southeastern University and a second Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. Liliana is trained in Functional Family Therapy and in Special Education. Liliana is also bilingual (English and Spanish).

Dorothy Montgomery, LPC
Dorothy Montgomery is a clinical therapist with 17 years of experience. She is from Bronx, New York, and moved to Alabama at the age of twelve. Montgomery graduated from Youngstown State University with a BA in Psychology, graduated from Troy University in Montgomery with an MS in Counseling and Human Development, and graduated from AUM with an MS in Justice and Public Safety.

Tatiana earned both her degrees for Psychology (BS) and Counseling and Psychology (MS) from Troy University. She has 6 years of experience in the counseling field. She is currently working on her doctorate in International Counseling at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, whereupon completion, she hopes to assist those both domestically and abroad.

Dr. Dana K. Harmon is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and social work professor. She has a Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and a PhD in social work from the University of Alabama. She has been practicing for almost 25 years. Throughout her career, Dr. Harmon has direct service experience with couples, families, adults, and adolescents, and has co-led various court-ordered programs focusing on domestic violence intervention, juvenile substance abuse prevention, anger management, and divorced and unmarried parents. She has also done mitigation work for capital murder cases. Her passion is to see individuals, couples, and families live life to the fullest, and to build or restore healthy relationships.

Melissa Alexander is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Private Independent Practitioner. She has worked professionally since 1993 and has been a licensed social worker since 2006. Dr. Alexander has provided services to a diverse group of individuals in outpatient, acute care, and residential facilities. She has over 20 years of service as an employee of the State of Alabama, across 3 agencies. Dr. Alexander holds degrees in Psychology/Sociology, Social Work and Family Therapy. She has experience in supervision, administration, case management and mental health provision. Dr. Alexander has assisted individuals with addressing symptoms of anxiety and depression, managing daily stressors, and coping with change. She values helping individuals build the emotional skills that empower them to create their best possible lives.

Sally later opened and ran her own daycare, for several years, before moving to Alabama. In her free time, Sally enjoys traveling, spending time with family and being active in her community.
