Cela’ Q. Ardis is an Associated Licensed Counselor (ALC). Cela’ obtained her bachelor’s degree from Alabama State University in Elementary Education in the year of 2016. Cela’ is a proud alumna of Alabama State University, and is forever showing hornet nation school pride. Cela’ obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Faulkner University in the year of 2021. Cela’ is an active member of the Alabama Counseling Association, and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
Cela’ is passionate about counseling and working with individuals of all ages to overcome a variety of issues. Cela’ specializes in working with children, adolescents and adults experiencing grief, anxiety, anger, depression, self-esteem and other variety of issues that are a concern for the client.
Cela’s main focus is the client’s well-being. She thrives to guide all clients towards reaching their therapy and life goals. Cela’s approach to psychotherapy consists of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, group therapy, play therapy, family therapy and psychoeducation evidence-based interventions.
Cela’s passion behind her work is supported by her belief that all people deserve to be treated fairly with respect, compassion and understanding while working towards becoming the best reflection of themselves. In her spare time, Cela’ enjoys engaging in physical fitness, spending quality time with her dog “Charm,” and her loved ones.
