Tatiana Parker-Evans is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Alabama. She is a part of the American Counseling Association and the Alabama Counseling Association. Tatiana earned both her degrees for Psychology (BS) and Counseling and Psychology (MS) from Troy University. She has 6 years of experience in the counseling field. She is currently working on her doctorate in International Counseling at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, whereupon completion, she hopes to assist those both domestically and abroad.
Tatiana has worked primarily with adults in various settings (outpatient, rehab day, in-home, and incarcerated) conducting individual sessions, family sessions, court referrals, group work, case management, and consultations. She has experience working with clients diagnosed with serious mental illnesses (SMIs). Her work includes addressing experiences with mood disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, substance abuse, suicide, crisis management, vocation, PTSD, life transitions and adjustments. She utilizes an integrated and holistic treatment modality consisting of reality-based, person-centered, and/or a cognitive behavioral approach to aid in the elevation and management of one’s mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.
