Santina Golson is a Licensed Professional Counselor and an active member of the Alabama Counseling Association. She is a native of Montgomery, Alabama, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Troy State University Montgomery and a Master of Science in Counseling from Faulkner University. She has been working in the counseling field since 2018. She has experience working with individuals with emotional and/or behavioral issues such as, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment to life transitions, relationships, teen issues, anger management, etc.
Santina’s motivation for being an effective counselor is the quote, “It’s ok to not be ok.” She feels as though everyone is dealing with some form of life struggle/challenge, but sometimes people need help managing it in an effective way; and that is ok. She offers a safe, non-judgmental, nurturing, and collaborative environment where clients can address their life struggles/challenges without being judged or stigmatized.
