Liliana Sanchez, LMHC, LPC

 

Liliana Sanchez is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both the state of Alabama and the state of Florida. Liliana has practiced as a licensed clinician for 5 years. Liliana is originally from South Florida where she earned a Master’s in Special Education from Nova Southeastern University and a second Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. Liliana is trained in Functional Family Therapy and in Special Education. Liliana is also bilingual (English and Spanish).

As a therapist, Liliana’s experience includes working with all populations with an emphasis on women’s issues, family systems and couples/relationship counseling. Liliana’s passion is working with families on creating nurturing environments to increase a sense of well-being. Liliana utilizes a variety of holistic techniques to attain this and believes in tailoring therapy on an individualized basis. She promotes positive self-regard for all who seek help.

Liliana worked as a Special Education teacher and consultant for over 20 years before becoming a licensed counselor. She has also worked as an advocate for children with disabilities and is considered an expert in the area of assistive technology.
